Are you in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate? Do you have the critical chops to know when to kiss, shake hands, or defecate into the necks of the people responsible for video games? Do you like being in front of a camera? If you said yes to all these things, I definitely have a job for you!
In the classic Destructoid tradition, we’re looking for a star within our community to help us with a new video project in partnership with Revision3. The gig is a paid internship with lots of room to grow. Our site’s been around for nearly five years, we reached 2.2 million people last month, and we’re still independently owned by an incredibly handsome fellow in a dashing robot helmet. He’s super awkward though, so that’s where you come in. The work primarily involves being in front of a camera, so show us that you were born to talk about video games. I wish I could tell you more, but then I’d have to pencil in a time to choke you in the dark of night.
How to apply
Create a video blog about a recent game you love or hate, or pick one of the stories we ran this week and give us a minute of your thoughts on it. Skip the part about your life story — stay on topic, keep it concise, and just be yourself. Destructoid works with the most opinionated voices in gaming, so show us that you can hold your own (and give it right back). To apply you must be a legal US citizen, at least 18-years of age, and can seriously e-n-u-n-c-i-a-t-e.
Email us your video
Please keep the video under a minute, upload to your favorite video site, and send the link to [email protected]. We’re looking to make a decision in two weeks, so have at it. Good luck!
