The new Mercedes S-Class is expected to make its world debut at the 64th Frankfurt International Motor Show to be held next week. Until the model has not been shown officially we can judge it on the spy shots made during test drives as well as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2012 rumors.
Though the model is covered by the camo hiding most of the exterior details like LED and grille, the general outline and proportions remain undisguised. The new S-Class appears to be a bit longer and taller than the current models, it is also marked with large windows resembling S-Class produced in 1990’s. Despite the camo the front lights with LEDs seem to be smaller than those of its predecessors.
As far as the engine concerns the new S-Class is expected to have a more efficient fuel engine. Judging on the previous models we can presume the new S-Class will be presented in several models with different engine volumes, possibly 3.5-liter V-6, 5.0-liter turbocharged V-8 and 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-12.
As for the interior we can presume it will be stylish and luxurious as ever containing all the modern amenities generally used by car designers including driver oriented console and updated relevant gauges. According to the latest rumors a large 2-D gauge-cluster screen will be displaced by a more traditional gauge with a smaller screen.
